Fabricated from Forest Stewardship Council-certified plywood that is precisely cut by laser, the Illan has an extremely thin and soft silhouette. Once suspended, gravity allows the piece to open up, creating volume and the signature form it is known for. Because of Horvath’s background in architecture and furniture design, the piece brings a sense of motion to the space, uniting the other objects in the home as it opens in a graceful, flowing manner.
